Mackenize Browne, a senior at JW North High in California, won the girls invitational 800 meters in a lifetime-best 2:03.07 at the 55th Arcadia Invitational at Arcadia High in California. Browne elevated to the No. 3 all-time California prep competitor and edged previous meet record holder Ali Ince of Normal Community High in Illinois, who clocked 2:03.17.
